COLD-WELD SERVICES is the Brainchild of Subroto Ghosh Choudhury, which was formed and started in the year 1990, who is ex-empolyee of TATA MOTORS (Telco) and ADVANI-OERLIKON Ltd., till 1989.

Initially, while starting the business, Cold Weld was involved in maintenance welding, later Cold-Welding technology was introduced by them, first in Eastern India in 1993, till 1998, Cold-Weld was engaged in all types of maintenance welding jobs, Cold Welding, Anti-Corrosive Coatings etc.

In 1998, Business was diverted from Welding to Safety & PPE, but due to Techno-commercial matter the name COLD-WELD remained same for the sake of Business.
